Boohoo, quit playing the victim. You must have a basement full of balls & bats.

I had a conversation with f&g recently and apparently they are going to patrol the beaches by land and water a lot more this summer at night to catch the commercial guys that come in close to the beach to net the fluke. Every year I see them come in with lights off and rape the beach.

This can't happen.. They are gps monitored.. steaming to port & fishing are so different the gaps would out them.

welp let me just say this [your nuts] we have gps tracking devices on the boats and there is no way to power them down they are on 24/7 even at the dock so the wardens know where we are at all the time.. also we carry observers that work for NMFS and then we have to call the state two hours before we get to the dock so fish & game can be there for the off load ...so someone is telling stories and it is not me that is all fact ...

"and just like a chick you will respond because you just have to have the last word...its in your nature.." Point Proven!....[rofl]
Your ignorance towards the topic & commercial fishing is so laughable that you don't deserve a serious reply. Try doing an ounce of research about the commercial flounder regs, instead of acting like the €*£ you are, before bitching..

on a side note, to put " law man" in your forum name outs you as a DBAG way before you say a word.

seeing I am on a role let me also say this.. any of you guys that have a problem catching your limit of fluke need to find a different hobby because you suck at that one and stop trying to blame the commercial guys .. there has never been so many fish around north or south so stop the crying and instead of going fishing do afternoon bingo or something

hahaha ok... Going to go out on a limb and say barring the charter guys I fish summer flounder more than 99% of the guys on this forum and for you to say there are more fish than ever is a joke to say the least. Going back a few years we didn't even have to try to catch good numbers and nowadays its run here, go over there, try this spot, see if they want something else to eat. Not every fisherman has the ability to steam for miles and miles to find good grounds or reach the good spots from the shoreline and it isn't worth all the fuel to get there just to catch some fish. When we get back to the marina in the manasquan river our boat has usually done the best and we talk to other fishermen at the tackle shops or on the river we usually out fished them and I can't ever remember coming home with more than a two man limit. So if I suck I wouldn't even know what to say about the majority of anglers! Your panties just get all wadded up whenever a guy don't agree with commercial fishing practices right or wrong. Have you ever fished for fluke with a rod and line on a average anglers boat with a average anglers numbers without telling them where to go because you do/should have better knowledge of where they are? Or from shore? I'm going to say probably not.

We could fish more of the little bit of rough stuff that is around the squan inlet and catch more and some bigger fish but for most of us it isn't worth the hassle of losing rigs and expensive lures and all the other headaches that come with getting snagged.

let me say it again there are more fish now than ever and that is a fact I just did not make this up there is science behind it and yes I have used a rod and reel before and have many friends that own charter boats as well as head boats and they will all tell you the same thing if you're having trouble catching fluke theses day you're doing something wrong

OH I see the fish are suppose to come to you ....Damn i've been doing this all wrong for the past 35 years ...welp thanks for filling me

Have to agree with Smitty, there are far more fish around than have been . AND the quality of those fish has been way bigger # wise.
on an average tourney the guys I fish with throw back a few limits of nice fish each trip looking for a money fish .

What def has changed is that the fluke really relate more to where the bait is than they ever did before.
There was a crazy amount of fish south of Manasquan last year that were so zoned in on sand eels , they wouldnt touch the normal offerings. Match that hatch and it was easy limits.

Other areas north were loaded with squid, and anything fished resembling that made again for easy limit catches.

The days of long lazy drifts for fluke I believe are a thing of the past.
finding where fish are holding and doing spot on dedicated drifts puts big numbers in the boat quick .

.
