I think I'm going to just go to a local sport shop at 10am. is there any disadvantage to that? I feel like I wont be able to get the online checkout done fast enough

Just kidd'n...I know what you guys are going though....Use to be at the Pequest Fish Hatchery, 1:00 or 2:00 am sometimes in the rain to get a chance at OTC permits. Then you hear guys say later that they didn't have time to hunt or some other excuse and they had popular permits that sold out...I hate this kinda reminder post for leftover permits...The dedicated turkey hunters KNOW when the OTC sale is. And they are the ones that will USE the permits...The guys that need reminding will likely be the ones that...'May Go If They Have Time'.
Try standing in the rain for 8 or 9 hours only to find out the guy in front of you bought the last permit....BEEN THERE DONE THAT.
