When did you know, She was the one?

I met my wife when she was 16, she did not come from a hunting family. We were taking a hike and as we walked out the door I remembered it was muzzleloader season and asked her if she minded if I carried the muzzy while we walked. She said sure, good sign right there.

As we were walking we saw some deer and she was excited to see if I could get close enough for a shot. I did. She carried the gun out of the woods while I dragged the deer, that was one heck of a first date. [rofl]

A week later she helped me butcher "our deer" and as they say, the rest is history.

I was told by a friend of mine make sure you find someone that you will always love to look at even years from now....soo I did...even when we argue she's still real nice to look at...she dosnt like hunting but now I have 3 children from her that do..lol...[up]

When I found out she was 7 years younger then me and looked hot as hell all dolled up. Three kids later still looking like the first day I met her. Oh, she hates widow season. (September-January).

When she didn't mind my hunting and fishing. Didn't mind me being away for 12-48 hours on weekends. She's put on some weight during our 30 years. But I look for the positives of that: provides shade in the summer and warmth in the winter.

I was 13 years old, met her in elementary school, she came from a family with really no upbringing, didn't know right from wrong, but she did and had the biggest heart, good head on her shoulders, smart, outgoing personality, well mannered. Church going girl, but definitely knows how to have fun, and most of all she loves hunting and fishing. Well 8 years later, we're still together and expecting out first child together.

From that moment, I knew that this puppy was getting rescued from the shelter. Best dog I ever had.
