I will be going for Elk in Wyoming and I wanted some input on what you recommend for up to 300 yards. I've narrowed it down to Barnes 140gr or 150gr TTSX because 160gr is unavailable or Nosler Trophy Accubond 160gr. Assuming my rifle likes both, what are your thoughts? Thanks

Midway shows there past due on the Barnes Vortex 160grain. If not your local shop should be able to order them.

I can fet it at Notches but Barnes 160's are nowwhere.

They're "overdue" for a reason. Doesn't look like the Vortex 160's (#21529) are in the supply pipeline anywhere.
I'll check with my distributor on Monday, but I'm guessing they're unavailable from the manufacturer at this time.

I went to Newfie for a Moose in sept. Used my 7mm wsm with HSM 168 gr berger vld. I use them also in my 25-06 in 115 gr. Great bullet great company.

Yeah, I've heard good things about them too.
I shoot 162 Grn Hornady A-Maxs out of my .280 AI, which uses the same size bullets as the 7mm. My rifle is also a 700 BDL and the thing is an absolute tack driver when pushed by 54.9 grains of IMR -4831. You obviously want something extremely accurate, as the distances you'll likely be shooting will magnify any imprecision.
