Rain and warmer than normal temperatures keep the big boys from really moving much of the first part of the week.Friday and Saturday were the two best days temperature wise. Saw a total of 14 different bucks while on stand. The two best being a 120" 8 point (saw him Tues morning stayed out 52 yds) and a 140" 8 point(saw him Fri morning came in to 35 yds head on, turned to the left behind brush walked away without ever giving me an opportunity). One of the guys we were with scored on a 122" 8 point that weighed 205 on Tuesday morning. Overall I had a great time on this trip spent a week with some good friends and will have memory's to last a lifetime.

deer that was taken.

Awesome pics! Did you have a guide? If so, have a contact name?

Joe runs a great show out there. I was out there a few weeks ago and same deal very hot the first 3 days then cooler the following didnt get a shot off either. Most of there stands and stand locations are bettter suited for gun hunting but with a little moving around it's good for the bow too.

The food is great, people and atmosphere is great also.

Hunter810, thanks for sharing and that place sounds like a place I would like to try. That is a nice buck the old guy killed. I bet he was very happy with getting him since you said the conditions were against you and your hunting buddies.

I bet the old guy was using scent shield clothing to bag that nice buck?

Well, congrats to pops and hope you score like you buddy Freddy.

Congrats on a great buck![up]

Great photos too![up]
