All I have to do is think about sweating at work for 10 hours a day and winter isnt so bad. I hate summer.

I can't wait for striper season but I'm not done hunting yet. I will be in a tree with bow in hand on Saturday in zone 50.

I did well during fall and permit bow so I hung the bow up to give the deer a rest and I have been doing some hard water fishing before I break the boat out.I love the winter spring fall and summer and would never complain about any of them,With each season starts another season of my life,but if my new fiancé keeps bitching about that I hunt and fish to much the season of being single will be soon!!

Mike, It has been a long season. I sat in the stand yesterday afternoon till dark. saw ten does and a spike buck. tried to fire the muzzleloader off at the end o the sit and it took three primers before the load finally went off. It is a good thing one of the big boys has not showed as I would have really been P.O.ed. I may try to do some icefishing if we get a calm day soon. I am thinking about heading up to Western N.Y. for lake Erie tributary steelhead in March if the weather cooperates , then turkeys. I have had enough of Winter already lets hope it warms up soon.

My hunting stopped in December and Blackfishing is what I did until last week when the North Current and all the cold water killed the bite.
Now I will focus on a couple of codfish trips then I will go to the Pequest and Flat Brook to nymph fish some trout and fish some small BWO's both in cdc and emerging flies as well as some small caddis dry flies.
The Tournament fishing and Fluke kick in. I used to striper fish but it isn't worth my time anymore too many people fish for them. when they do some extreme restrictions like years ago I will return when the herd thins out.
