ok out of all these folks who can only hunt sunday....what have they been doing?? not hunting??? ......every hypothetical you fellas pose gets pecker slapped

It's great that you are a stay at home dad. But when your kids grow up and get involved in school sports and activities, when will they have time to hunt? Someday, you may want to get a job and have to work on Saturday. Are you going to give up hunting?

No worries, you could always move to one of the 40+ states that allow Sunday hunting.....

40+? Wow last time I checked it was only 39 that allowed it but I guess the numbers are close enough...an enough with these stupid "sports/activities" excuses. I've been dealing with sports for years and still have found enough time to get out

this sunday hunt sh1t is getting annoying. Every time a thread like this comes around a mod should shut it down. This is the 3rd "hunting waterfowl on Sunday's" thread in less than a month...you guys gotta give it a rest

I am sorry blood but you are delusional if you think I want to go back to work first off. Second is I am doing things with my kids everyday of the week. They do everything from yoga to dance to church choir doesn't stop me from hunting one bit. If I did get a job on Saturday I would hunt during the week on days I could if not like I always say kids don't care where the food comes from just as long as it's on the table. I guess I would not hunt then and be the guy who doesn't hunt Sunday. You don't understand waterfowling at all. It is deep in tradition that people now a days forget. I waterfowl hunt and that's it no deer or anything else. It's became to main stream now with tv shows and that b.s.. I can find 1000's of duck and goose hunters but only a few waterfowl hunters. Once again good luck in your quest for Sunday's in nj and trying to convince us. I think you just pissin into the wind here. I for one don't want it to change.

So, we shouldn't hunt on Sundays because it's a "deep tradition". Can a "waterfowler" reside in another state and hunt on Sunday or does that automatically disqualify him from the official title?

You know why people forget "deep traditions"? Because it doesn't fit into many people's busy lifestyle. It likely will not fit in your kids lives either.

False. The people that "forgot" about them are the duck dynasty douche bags who never even learned them to begin with. Everyone ALWAYS says family comes first but then here you're blaming your kids and their sports on why you can't hunt? Classy...

The same mike rossi who was accused of waving his .22 cal started pistol at the cable guy? I certainly hope he is not a spokesman for nj hunting legislation. If the 1728 people who have OPPOSED Sunday hunting find out about that I'm almost certain they would use it against the supporters.

What I think for you blood is maybe you should stop beating the keys on your computer. I spend my fair share on here and once again another b.s. festival by someone who I am guessing buy the amount of post you have doesn't even hunt much. I am not a betting man but I guess your pushing for this because your to busy the other 6 days commenting on everything talked about on here. Just an observation.

I'm not blaming my kids and their sports on why I can't hunt, I'm blaming their sports as why THEY can't hunt. I hunt all I want during the week. And now, In VA, they can hunt on Sundays so they get out a lot more often.

There is a dead horse that is being beat here. I find it amusing that we are being told to "inform" ourselves about what this bill is really about yet the ones that state that THEY are informed are actually the ones that are spreading the false information.. Why should I vote in favor of a bill that I don't like/don't want just in hopes that it will get amended at a later date to "satisfy" the waterfowl group.

I don't know how old your kids are but they must be on some serious sports teams then. High school football means practice mon-fri games Saturday at 1 being at the field at 9 so I hunt the mornings. Once footballs over winter workouts with 6am workouts on Saturday so I hunt mid/afternoons. You must be doing something wrong if you can't find time to bring them out.

Yes, very serious. Obligations almost every Saturday in multiple sports. Again, I don't have a problem anymore. I have Sundays.

My kids are older now but fall youth sports (the ages where you want to get kids involved in hunting) are almost always on Saturdays.

I hate to say it but NO it is not. It is way better then DU but still same agenda. Makin the money. The big organizations out there all of them have huge payrolls and only a "percentage of the funds collected" is use for the purpose its meant for. But back to the point stop the back door special misleading bs here. I for one don't want to it to change. Thank you said my fair share and I will be reading now on I have to get ready for my childes 5th birthday party on Saturday. I just so you know I am giving up 5 bird and snows for it. She is only going to be 5 once so guess who is skipping hunting this sat its ME!!!! maybe I will try this Sunday thingy and I will let you know. good luck in your quest. I think the old henry would give you the thumbs down there birdup. boy we are old .
