thats cute try to insult my inteligence because i read between the lines and see that people have agendas... any way lets hear your response to my hypothetical respsonse about it not being about money just soley about hunting opportunity and how the council is only going to support the opportunity and not look into the quality of the hunting

you guys may need to take it from here... i smell a ban coming on
No bans. The council gets nothing from license sales. We do as hunters though. That money is used to give us more hunting opportunity. The budget that fish and game operates on is so restricted these days I'm surprised they make payroll every week. If the division had it their way all of us would be paying way more than we do already. Over the last few decades the liberal anti hunting state legislature, has taken everything they can in funding from the division to further their useless social programs. Even still today they have to use the sales of licenses for certain things that benefit us by law.

nothing is free in this world and that includes the input from the game council. i promise those people arent there just because they were bored one day. they are there for them selves and their agendas.
So I ask again, please report the ethical violations of the F&G Council that you know of. Be specific or do not continue your slanderous remarks.

So, again I ask, why would the F&G Council care about money?

What you are accusing the F&G Council of is being unethical, which is a pretty serious charge. Now, before you slander them again, maybe you should provide evidence of any ethical violations that you know about from any individual member of the F&G Council. Be specific.
no charge of being unethical. ever heard of lobbying? im not saying that money benefits them directly or anything like that. maybe money was a bad choice for an example. all im saying is that they politicians as much as the governor and they will use a hugely controversial topic that they may not necessarily support as a pawn to get something else passed. its how the political game works and if you dont believe that you are nieve

The hunting representatives on the council are there because we the Federation chose those individuals. Not because they were popular or could give us all something. But because they've proven to be honest and trustworthy amongst the hunting community. I can't speak for the commercial fishermen or agricultural members I have no idea how they are chosen. The hunting members of the Council seek our input before they make decisions. It really can't get anymore democratic the way things work IMO. Bubblehead you're entitled to your beliefs of a conspiracy theory, I can respect your right to believe whatever you want. And with that said I'm still on your side when it comes to hunting waterfowl on Sunday. I'm viciously against that idea. Although at this point that's all it is. No one on the game council has come out and said they are pushing for a sunday hunt.

So, you have no specifics... Pretty irresponsible, not to mention criminal, to slander an entire group of volunteers (half of which are sportsmen) based on absolutely no proof.

again nothing slanderous... just stating that they are their to support their own causes. one cause may be because they want youth days added. thats a good cause but dont think it didnt take any lobbying on their part. these people are there for the right reasons for the most part but dont think they wont use this as a pawn

slander? you mean call them politicians and then explain how politics works? just because they are volunteers doesnt make them not politicians or politically motivated. the worst i ever did was state that they dont care what we say (as maximus stated with the xbow argument) so we shouldnt trust them to make the right decision regarding our waterfowl hunting...

proven to be trustworthy zone9? is that how obama got elected?
This is a hopeless argument here. I'm out. I highly recommend you attempt to attend some of your county's federation meetings. I have a feeling you will find most share in your waterfowl hunting ajenda. It will also she'd a little light on how we the members control how the council votes. Good luck to you in your endeavors sir.

ohhh scaaaaarry

its funny how this thread started by claiming "we" were unable to handle this discussion.....and it ends with them placing criminal charges

please bloodtrails show me i where claimed they accepted bribes or stole money or claimed they did anything other than lobby each other (and other political groups/persons)
I never said that, but that has nothing to do with you making slanderous remarks. You claimed that they were all about the money. That would make them unethical. For a unpaid volunteer that gives a ton of their own time, that's a pretty serious charge.

Basically, provide proof or STFU.

Then you need to be prepared with more than just a NO NO NO response. As I said earlier, when xbows were to be introduced and bowhunters just said NO NO NO without anything but "we don't want it" The council said Yes anyway.

Absolutely wrong. But what you diid prove is you believe nobody but the so-called "dedicated waterfowler" should have ANY say. That is not the way to get any other group of hunters on your side. Guys like BentBarrels started throwing darts right from the beginning. Mr legend in his own mind looks down at everyone else, let me remind you that other hunters are "soccer moms" so if it does come down to a Council decision how many other hunters do you think will stand beside him in the fight? Not many. The arrogance displayed by so many is pathetic. Would I stand behind guys that feel so passionate about not including it when they present a viable case and true understanding of the impact...Yes Would I stand behind an arrogant A-hole like BentBarrels...not a chance
Listen here soccer mom, I don't need you or the council to stand behind me. There are thousands of people against this wet fart of a bill that will be stopped dead in its tracks and left to die. If you want to keep calling the Russian orange army of assunpink, the guided grey layout fleet of barnegat bay, and the house hunters of the two rivers, "sportsmen"' then so be it.
