So I have a couple rifle I'd like to get scopes for but like to get some suggestions from those with experience so I don't buy something that's too much or not enough. I have 3-9x40 Burris and really would to diversify for varmint hunting, target practice, and long distance.
One is a Ruger 10/22 takedown that I'd like to use for small game and target while being able to use the iron sights as well. Don't want a scope that's too big or expensive but like quality.
Have a .270 that I'd like to eventually hunt with in another stae but in the meantime use at the range at 100-300 yds.
I've looked at some redfields, nikons, and Burris scopes but again looking for help from those with experience with other scopes...
The winter kills me so mine as well spend money I shouldn't...
