Well. Atleast you didn't see a half rack buck with an arrow sticking out of its top shoulder like I did Saturday. Wish I had a shot. That crap makes hunters look bad.

I go with a arrow cause the pictures were 17 days a part. Looks like he is losing weight. He might have been fighting and the piece got hit and caused it to start bleeding. He will probably shed very early if he lives.

Perhaps, and fighting seems to makes more sense, but if someone was at a lower angle from the deer and shot up at the animal, it could be a nasty graze wound.
