Congrats! Don't let all the hate get to you. Like 3 deer between 2 guys is gonna destroy a herd or something [eyeroll]. They bitch about "if you want meat shoot does" and then you shoot does and it's big crybaby festival. "Shoulda let em walk" "shoulda waited for buck". Nobody is ever happy. You got a freezer full of meat and had a great day with a buddy and I don't see anything wrong with it. So congratulations again [up]

Thanks, you took the words right out of my mouth. We had a great time and some good eating will be had.

No one's ever happy. To big. To small. Thin the does. Don't shoot does . If you want meat shoot does. When you shoot does " why would you shot does" hahahha. What a joke. Sometimes I'm not sure if this is a knitting circle or a HUNTING SITE. The negative remarks are guys who sat for a week and didn't see a deer. Jealousy is a terrible trait to have. Good shooting, congrats you got some great table fare there.

Well said guys.....couldn't have said it any better myself.i hunted 2 days straight I let does and a spike go for the fact I've killed 4 deer all year from 4 different areas in 2 different zones and I know there's nice bucks were I hunt but don't chime on a guy who probably doesn't get to hunt alot and he takes a doe or 2 that doesn't affect a herd what affects a herd is when you wipe every deer you see out when you hunt Sept to Feb the guys who must kill every time just to say hey look I got a deer...I've hunted 10 or 11 times this year seen over 120deer and took 4 out I'm sure I did very little to the herd myself

So unless those two little one get mated this year the only damage to the heard is the big doe and I'm sure there's gonna be plenty of new fawns born over the spring. So would it make a difference if he shot one doe tonight. Then another in Jan and then another in Feb. Get real and keep the negativity off the pages. Good job. You got 3 kills. None were wounded or lost.

UPDATE. I just spoke with Brian Murphy, president and ceo of QDMA, he assured me that the hunters did not in fact take out the entire deer herd in the area. Close one! Luckily it looks like you'll be fine next year. Ahahahhaha

Both, first one with a Remington Slugger slug 12ga. and the other two were taken with buckshot. All three dropped in their tracks! Gotta love a 12 gauge.
