For the last year or so I have been wearing the LL Bean Big Game System. There are different weight liners for each season. So far I am very happy. It wasn't cheap, but you do get the LL Bean customer service with it. If there is ever a problem they stand behind it.

The more I read and the more experience I get the less fussed I am about brands or patterns. I'm more concerned with warmth, breathability, and waterproofing as well as the ability to withstand briars.

I'm currently looking to replace my camo with Cabela's MT050 Whitetail Exteme or their 7-in-1 parka. Basically it comes down to the fact that they seem like good values when weighing out the other factors I listed above based on other people's experiences. I frankly don't care what brand it is but the positive reviews and checking the boxes on my requirements are key.

I have scentblocker Spider Outfitter Pants as well as the outfitter jacket with trinity. When leaves are still on the tree.

I then add ASAT 3-D Camo over it when the trees are almost bare to bare. It breaks you up very well.

I wish they made ASAT Camo with carbon or scentblocker used the ASAT pattern which I believe is better than Realtree extra and Mossyoak Breakup infinity, although of the 2 I like breakup infinity better than realtree extra.

I've always been partial to Mossy Oak, although I have some real tree as well. I usually buy Cabelas brand. I dig sneaky leaf a lot, during early bow and spring turkey. I too wear Filson condoms, but only when I bird hunt lol. there's no substitute!

Camo pattern is nowhere near as important as fit, cut and comfort. Staying still and playing the wind is real camoflouge. I get my balls busted for wearing Kuiu, but not only is it the toughest, most comfortable and best fitting camo I own it also breaks up well in most environments. Scientists believe deer are colorblind, therefore breaking up your outline is what counts should a deer stare your way.
For warmth, there's nothing like wool. Too bad man was last seen on 206 North in Bedminster.
