I'm in a dilemma I know you can't use a atv or any type of motorized vehicle on them state forest up north for the bear hunt but I haven't found one piece that says you can't use alpacas or llamas to haul bait or a quartered bear out.i think I'm going to borrow one of my friends alpacas

FYI, there is a section in the Digest regarding ATV use to remove a bear from state land...you just need to call and request authorization after the kill

Smoking gun you are a funny man ,but I am with you wish they would let us use something to get the deer or bear out . Tired of climbing Hills myself . Miss old days private property and ATV/Be surprised where I got that ATV almost killed myself few times . I have to go read that part about ATV .I was told no .This is what I just copied out of compendium Bear section Frequently asked questions ATV use on all state and federally owned properties is prohibited.
Than I did find this on page 60 •
ATV use is prohibited in state parks. forests and
wildlife management areas. However, hunters
might be permitted to use ATVs to retrieve a bear
but only with approval from, and on a pathway
approved by, the park superintendent or desig-
nee (for state parks and forests) or from Fish and
Wildlife’s regional Law Enforcement office (for
assistance on wildlife management areas).
