I'm recently single. I had an "almost wife". We were engaged but ended it. While she understood my passion for hunting, she still would get mad at me all the time. Especially when I would be gone for a week at a time at pa hunting camp. I gotta say tho being single now is great! I can go in the woods any time I want without explaining myself, buy guns and ammo without getting a dirty look, keep my hunting gear in the back seat of the truck, this is great! This year is going to be awesome! Ha
the next woman in my life will not only have to understand, she will probably have to enjoy it too. Because they only understand for so long lol.

I think the only reason to get married is if your gonna have kids. I would never change anything in my life because of my kids. With that said, I can't help but think about the with the money I make now not having the the expenses I have. I could book hunting trips all over. Instead I'm broke as a joke. Lol.

Gotta say, I'm pretty lucky when it comes to hunting and fishing, wife doesnt complain at all. She doesnt really eat venison but loves fish. The only rule for going fishing is I better come home with dinner. Plus it keeps me out of trouble.

Nothing ticks my wife off about hunting, she has supported mu hunting from the first day I met her 44 years ago.

I wouldn't know, I'm not home to hear her complain :D zone9 has one closed day between September 13 - February 21st. During the cold months I'm out working all night keeping people's junk boilers and furnaces running anyway, she is used to hearing my phone ring in bed at 2am. But when I hunt mornings I put all my clothes in the guest room before I go to bed. She doesn't care for me turning the bedroom lights on at 4am to get dressed.
