Hey Guys, I recently moved to Matawan and am looking to find some good responsible hunters in the area to either hunt locally or possibly in NY as well.

I feel your pain. I'm in Manalapan and every spot I used to hunt in Monmouth County is now housing developments or Green Acres / no hunting. This year it's either public land (screw that insanity) or nothing - this sucks

Dam, where are all these people in Matawan? I have been here in Aberdeen for going on five years and I hunt every Saturday and Sunday starting in November through mid March (upland) train all spring and summer NAVHDA but never see anyone on the road at 5 in the morning!
Would love to do some pheasant only thing is I don't have a hunting dog

Yes you can go to bordentown road and shoot your bow right by the horse farm but it's not pretty bring your own target

Same here would love a dog but kid has allergies.
Could always do a preserve, they usually will have a dog and guide available for extra $
For years I've hunted with a buddy and his dog, either Colliers or Assunpink. He's too far and busy this coming season. On my own this year. Hit me up if you want to go sometime. Can be done without a dog, but not nearly as fun or productive

I live in Keyport i normally hunt Monmouth/Middlesex countys but sometimes ill venture out to Assunpink. I would be down for a meet up to get to know some of the guys from my area since i normally hunt solo. I would also be down for some pheasant hunting although i dont have a dog.
I'm also interested in meeting up. New hunter, I just came back from my first dove hunt and I'm hooked. Looking to meet upland and waterfowl hunting buddies. I live in Old Bridge and am prior military and currently work in law enforcement. Always looking for golfing buddies too!

i would normally suggest a weekend meet up but this weekend is open season, would a week day at night time be reasonable for everyone.. like a 7pm meet up somewhere?.. I'm old bridge/ matawan..
