Hey Guys, I recently moved to Matawan and am looking to find some good responsible hunters in the area to either hunt locally or possibly in NY as well.

im in matawan. ill send you a message, i can deff help you out. between matawan area, old bridge area, cheese quake state park and both fire houses ( matawan and old bridge) i can hook you up with a lot of great guys to hunt with around here.

yea i think so in conversation not so much in person. my wifes family is more so who i was refering to and they are close to oswego i think was the place.i have to look again.

im from matawan but live in old bridge now , not hunting this comming season due to fund issues , the state does not make it that inexspencive to hunt the seasons and recently having to sell my bow , i cant jump out a tree with a spear lol...any how welcome to the area ! buddy[drinking]
Hey thanks Buck Blaster, sorry to hear that man, that sux. If you want to get a NY license I can take you to Sterling, its only $5. But the non-NY resident license is what will be pricey Im sure. I also may not hunt in NJ this year b/c you need to live here for 6 months to get a resident and the non resident isnt cheap. I dont know yet though, if I can find some places to hunt here I may buy a weekend one or something to see what its all about.

im from Old Bridge. i dont have any local spots, mostly hit warren and hunterdon counties.
Hey Arc, I see your a UBNJ member. I was thinking of joining, what is involved with joining? Do they have any land to hunt or is it just a club? Do they have a clubhouse and range or anything like that?

if everyone is looking to meet people .. and etc.. why not have a meet up.. i saw a few old bridge, matawan looking for partners.. and the others were brick.. thats about 45min - 1 hour travel depending on where in brick.. but we could always arrange a little meet up somewhere
