You mean broadheads? I have been bowhunting 30 years now and used to be a tinkering BROADHEAD junky. Change every year. Even dabbled in mechanicals for a while but the cons far outweighed the pros. I started shooting VPAs in 2011 and finally found my nirvana. No desire to change anymore. Pictured is a 100gr non-vented and I have vented too. They are not for everyone. They don't come hunting sharp for a reason. You are expected to practice and tune your bow. Sharpening before you hunt is a breeze with some practice and right tools. Most hunters would not take the time to shoot their broadheads that much or sharpen themselves. All I know is they are the best flying best penetrating toughest and sharpest (with my system) head I ever used. Solid machines steel- no welds like a montec or hell razor or snuffer. Very economical this head here accounted for 8 consecutive deer.
. While they may not be like "throwing an axe" through 'em they make decent holes and lots of blood.

. Simple solid heads u can practice = great results in the field. No surprises how the arrow will fly and u definitely don't need a 2" cut hanging by hinges to put a deer down fast. I think the last 12 deer I shot with these fell in sight. The only one that didn't die within 15 seconds was this 137" buck that I liver shot. Still- he only walked 40 yards and layed down for an hour before his final dirt nap. Bad shot by me as he moved as I released.

When I started bow hunting 20+ years ago there were only a few heads on the market. I have been using Muzzy 3 blade 100 grains forever. I never had a head fail. My bows over the years have shot them straight. Many deer I shoot the blood trail looks like a murder scene.. I have zero reason to try another head

125 helix. little pricey of the bat but when you see how thick the blade is you know they are going to stick around. if you read up on Ashby's reports on broad head testing this design leads the pack. Two blade, single bevel, cut on contact, chisel point. Flying knifes is what they should be called!

I've used the G5 Striker's 100gr. (fixed blade) for many years and have been very happy with them. This year, I am trying the Rage Chisel tip, three blade (expandable) 100gr. The new blades will get their introduction in less than two (2) weeks with a bear hunt that I am going on with my son.
