You said it... "Insane". By definition, doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results. Never going to stop people from playing with weed. Might as well make some money off of them.

I say legalize it not only because honestly some of the best people i ever met smoke weed and still do.I never met a stoner who was out of control or violent in anyway if anything the absolute opposite is true from my expirences anyway.The number of deaths by violence would be way down if drunks smoked weed instead of drinking. Nobody goes out after smoking a joint to kick ass that i know of.If anything they make a run to the quickymart for a late night entemanns cake and then joke about the guy named baboo behind the counter saying can i help you.But i guess you guys see the real bad ass pot smokers you know the ones that stay up past 8 pm on a week night. I dont know many of those hellraisers they sound scary i better hide my kids lucky charms dont want stoners kicking my kitchen cabinet in looking for that friggin little leprechaun holding those delicous flavoured marshmallows lol

I work Philly pd and Im hear to tell you firsthand that there are speakeasies EVERYWHERE!!! Alcohol can be purchased from almost any stop and go here but people STILL go to speakeasies....Why? CHEAPER!!!!!!!!!!
Also we still have a lot of crime coming from those speakeasies with drug sales...
If weed were legal there would still and always will be a black market for cheaper weed...
Its just the way the world works.. No one wants to pay full price...No one wants taxes... (boston tea tax party)

I work Philly pd and Im hear to tell you firsthand that there are speakeasies EVERYWHERE!!! Alcohol can be purchased from almost any stop and go here but people STILL go to speakeasies....Why? CHEAPER!!!!!!!!!!

Not just in Philly. Have 2 within 1/4 mile of each other where I work. Ask anyone about the 'juke joint' and they can point you right to it. Beer for $2 a can. Card games every night, some of them 'high dollar' games, too. Weed, cook up, dope, ho's? Yep, you can get that, too, but I have to say that weed was the least used drug. WAY cheaper than going to a bar, and as a 'private residence' there really isn't much "the man" can do about it. It's an older crowd (average age, probably 60), and they pretty much police themselves.

We did manage to shut down a 3rd 'after hours' house, but that took months of parking tickets and noise ordinance summonses being issued. That house was for 18-30 year olds and they weren't as careful as the older folks at the juke joint. Fights were common inside, and when the neighbors would call the traffic was usually tearing out of the neighborhood as we were arriving. We've had several bad accidents on the surrounding streets, and many more versus parked cars. Never saw much evidence of drinking there, but it ALWAYS reeked of weed.

I've had all work for me at one time or another. Cocaine , heroin, crack, users are the worst employees, they steal ,rob anything for money ,borrow money , asking for rides and can't work for s&*t . Drinkers are a pain in a$$ workers, always late, hung-over, fight /argue w/ everyone, call in sick Mondays and have DWIs, always asking for rides . Pot smokers there on time, work, mind themselves ,have driver license . I'm glad I retired....

NO legalizing marijuana in NJ. We don't need to promote any more POT heads.

I couldn't care less if its legal or not. I haven't smoked that crap in years, I wouldn't plan on it if it were legal either. If I want to feel tired and hungry (the effect pot has on me) I just work a full day, and I get the identical result. Just with less giggling, & more $ in my pocket I didn't give to the dude on the corner. The people who smoke weed now don't care if its legal or not either. If they want to get stoned they're going to no matter what any of us think. I think there are worse things to worry about in this state that are legal...
