It seems that this nj season has brought on a whole new breed of hunters ,I have got ton so many calls and emails that I want to let everyone know that I can and will skin and make you pelt into a wall hanger or soft tan it ,my tanning is done here nothing is sent out ever.if you want to learn I will hand you a pair of gloves and walk you through the steps so you can pass on what you have learned to a young hunter or future hunter/trapper from there I will flesh your animal on a beam and then on and put it up to dry , turn around is 10 days or less and I charge $50 for fox $75 for yote ,as I stated above ,if you want to stay and learn your more then welcome or just drop and run like most either way works for me .i just figured I would throw the offer of teaching some of you guys out there to help pass on a passion.

Awesome - is that link you have in your signature where you are? southsideskulls.com - outside Edison in Central Jersey? I'm in South Jersey, but I would love to (if I am so blessed to get me a fox or yote) to get hands on and learn that. You are about an hour and a half away from me.

So, the question I have is - suppose I get a fox or yote - what is the best way to store and transport it so it doesn't spoil before it gets to you and gets skinned? Or would that be too far away? I always wonder how fast I could get it to a processor if I make the kill in middle of the night or in the early morning hours on a Saturday when folks aren't open yet.

where are you located i just got another yote in Ny and i would love to learn how!

Nice offer...I just find it amazing that guys can't/wont do it on their own...
Some of us are new at this, don't have the equipment or know-how, nor the space at our homes to hang, skin, and process the animals. Not so amazing when you think about it.

I don't mind giving my money to a guy in the business for his services - makes me happy, and allows a guy with the skills to make a living and support his family.

I'm in edison and always here if anyone need it ,if it's a fresh kill you want done just toss it in the fridge or in a cooler outside ,and bring it, if your going to be a while just wrap it in newspaper and bag freeze it but wipe it dry first.

It sounds great to me... this guy wants to pass and share what he knows !!! Amazing considering a lot of guys are jealous and dont want to share at all. Skilled and dedicated people always will find the way. Good karma for him!!!
