Here's mine TX on Nov. 5th . My sons first hunt EVER! The evening before he passed on two hogs because he said there was something wrong with the gun because the scope wouldn't stop moving. LOL! The next morning at about 7 he connected with this 98lbs . I will never to the day I die forget the smile on his face and excitement in his eyes. Thank you bell for starting this.

awesome pictures! great job

My favorite goes like this. Me and my brother Anthony went over to Assunpink to hunt Geese on the closer. We got there nice and early and were unloaded and ready to set up before anybody else even started to drive in. We had a young man approach us and ask if we wouldn't mind if he hunted the corner of the field across from us. I didn't like that idea and after a little discussion, we told him he could come and hunt with us. Well it turns out he is in the Marines stationed at Ft. Dix and from Louisiana, and doesn't know how to call in geese or too much about decoy placement, so we showed him a little about setting out decoys, then got set up in the hedge row we were hunting from. We worked the hell out of some birds on the calls for this guy and had a great time watching him blast them. I came home with one bird, but this was the best hunt of my life just working hard on the call to get the birds setting into the decoys for him This is a picture of me and him and 2 birds he shot and other 1 mine. He actually shot another when we were cleaning up the decoys for a limit. It was a group of 3 birds just dropping in hard over the hedge row like we weren't even there. If I didn't have to leave at 1 we would've all had our limits. We came away with a new friend and hunting buddy who we plan to take out with us rabbit hunting with the beagles and if he is still stationed here, for waterfowling next season. Awesome day with your son Mike, he's really getting in it to on a good foot with you.[up][up]

Hey Bubblehead...
That picture came out great! You and your family look as happy as some wet waterfowlers could look on what I thought was the windiest day of the year on the water! Glad you guys shot well and enjoyed time together that can only be valued as " priceless". Very happy I could help be a part of a lifelong memory.

My oldest son is turning 12 in 2 months. He wants to duck and goose hunt with me in the worst way. After buying most of his gear already, we will be slowly getting ready to venture out on a family goose hunt this Sept. I can only hope that the memories we make are equal to what you and your Dad have shared. Peace bro...

my favorite hunt was early fall when i had a small palamated yealring come within 15 yards of my stand. first time i ever saw one hunting but i didnt even think to shoot it. i saw it about 10 times last year and this year in the fall ill harvest it if i can. the hide would make a cool rug

That's so very kind of you Bubblehead to offer. My son would be beside himself to actually go and do something like that, not to mention the learning experience he'd gain.
I lost my Dad 15 years ago and think of the fishing memories we had over the years. Knowing the hunt you had with your Dad was so special was my priviledge to do the photo. Warmest regards
