I've seen that picture before as well . . .
Yep, here's the website it's on:

http://hebrewscholar.com/Lion_Unclean.html

The website claims that a guy who lives in Phillips, Wisconsin took the picture on a trail- camera near butternut.

Like I have been saying I never once believed any of the pictures/stories about these cats in the tri-state area and never said I did with this one, just that it intrigued me, being that this lady has nothing to gain in telling me....That's it !!! If some of you have seen the picture before then I will take your word for it

On top of the other comments, there's not a cell phone yet invented that can blast a flash like that in picture mode. Some people just want to believe so badly that they'll do anything and I don't mean you, BHC. I lived in Missouri for a few years and learned to adopt their motto of "show me". I guess until I see one myself here in the East, I'll never believe. But then again, they did find one in CT that got killed by a car a few years back they know migrated from the Dakotas, so anything is possible.

Why can't you people just believe this 60 year old lady was outside at night taking pictures of mountain lions in PA with her cell phone?

... calling to him in Itailian, "Ehi tu gatto grande figa, perchè non vieni un po 'più vicino?" [rofl][rofl][rofl]

(translation: "Hey you big pussy cat, why don't you come a little closer?")

For all you non-believers, we live out in the woods in Sussex county, New Jersey. About a year ago, I was driving with my husband, taking the Blue Heron Dr. exit onto Rt. 15 S when I saw a mountain lion. Even though it was about 7:30pm and dark, we were driving very slow as we entered the ramp on to the highway. Last week, my husband was driving alone to work around 6am & spotted a mountain lion again. It was very close to the first sighting, also on Rt.15 near the Sparta Mountains. I wanted to document these sightings, as I know there is much doubt regarding the existence of mountain lions in New Jersey. We are very familiar with the wildlife around here, and see deer, fox, black-bear etc.. frequently. We hear coyote, but I have not seen one yet... On both occasions, we are sure that this was a huge creature and definitely not a 35 lb. bobcat. We don't have photos or anything to gain from this, but to tell others don't believe the crap out there, MOUNTAIN LIONS DO EXIST IN NORTH NEW JERSEY!!!

It was a bobcat, and besides most women (with exception of a very few) have no clue what wildlife they're looking at in the first place. My sister in law called me once frantically,
"get down here!!!!!!"
Me:why what's up?
her: ermagehd the biggest buck deer just got hit right in front of me. It has like two horn antlers, it's hugggggge!!!!!

Luckily I speak fluent idiot.

Translated, it meant that a spike got hit down the road from my house, hardly enough to get me off the couch.

produce a picture, make sure there is proof such as a newspaper date stamp or an exit sign in the background

Drinking and driving do not mix.
