I went on a guided Mule Deer hunt near Jackson Wyoming. It was a public land horse back hunt. The opening day was Sep 15 and I was there for it. I took this deer the second evening of the hunt. We were 5 miles back at an elevation of 9800 feet. I got the deer at last light and we loaded the meat onto the 2 horses and walked the horses out. It was very nerve racking walking them out as the ground was very slippery and some of the ridge backs were a 2000 foot drop if you slipped a foot left or right.

Unit 270 in Montana is very hard to draw. It will take a long time but if you want one with a long bow this is the unit. Terrain is mild

Trophy transport was a class act. They didn't just drop the Muley off and roll out. They let me look around the inside of the truck and we talked hunting for about 20 minutes. It was absolutely a personalized service. I would highly recommend them.

That desk is huge. It is a 66 inch wide bankers desk from the late 1800's. Picked up on craigs list cheap.
