That fox trapper is Phil brown Lancaster area of pa he does put a few fox up met him few times at conventions nice guy his mind set seems to set simple for fur and not over complicate it I know they have huge numbers down there but I couldn't even fathom putting numbers like that up heard he did over 65,000 in reds last year nice fur check

Little warmer weather makes the **** move good. Put 2 **** snares out at a place i took a few out of last year and had one in each. Didnt have time to reset so i just put a box trap there. Should have one in the morning.

Phil has that work ethic. pours concrete all year, then traps like a mad man for a few months.
wakes at 4am, runs all day, skins and puts up 90% of what he catches.
in and out of his truck in a minute or two, then on to the next set.
a lot of his land, he isn't the only trapper on that piece. he just outworks the competition.
does this, year after year.

a nice fence line fox. i love the grey in him even though i know the red is better. seen a lot of fox the last 2 days at my muzzy spot. once 6 day is over it is game on.

the last couple of days i been playing cat and mouse with this mink, missed him a few times, well this morning i got my first buck mink of the season. he has a nice white blaze on his chest also.

well montana guess you wont have to worrie about your mink trap locations turning into a river anytime soon. did the stocking truck treat you good this year. lol

My sets have all been spung since Monday morning.
Sunday night was 35 and raining and we had a winter storm coming in on Monday night . I dont have time to remake sets before work and they would have all froze solid come night time so I sprung them all. I'll remake them all tomorrow. with temps in the minus for highs now I won't have any traps freeze up.Ill bed them all in dry peat moss and they will be good to go.

Stocking truck hasnt made its rounds yet. LOL
