seriously, you would have had much better luck taking days off during the last three weeks during the rut. Now you're getting into gun season which puts you in competition with a lot of other hunters. If you want to pop a buck I would hunt this saturday, sunday, and monday. Saturday should be productive with the cold snap, as long as you dont get messed up with youth hunters. Sunday you will have to hunt on private property or a WMA. Monday may be good too before the weather comes in.
I would focus on finding a spot to hunt, not focus so much on shooting a buck.
