I have been baiting bear for the past week an a half an have yet to even have a bear on the cam. What am I doing wrong? An this spot is a very populated area for bear... I guess corn, dog food, an molasses isn't enough..

Nope, no way.... had to dumpster dive for my sons retainer many years ago and that was the LAST time I would ever do that!

Good luck this year with that type of effort.

Robin, I have been doing that two or three times a week since the middle of October. I have four fifty five gallon drums filled to the top with sweet baked goods figuring as it gets closer to the season others are going to beat me to it. I also have about the same amount of bread and bagels. None of it is inside my home though its all in closed containers outside. It is a lot of work just collecting good bait. I also have to drive an hour to get to my bait site. Baiting bears is not EASY it is a lot of work !

My downstairs bathroom isn't heated, it never has been. I use it for a walk in refrigerator. I have a large piece of plywood that sits over the bathtub as a make-shift shelf. And to further exemplify how much of a ******* I can truly be, depending on how cold I want it in there, depends on how far I keep the window open.
