Unless your on private land. I spoke face to face with the clerk yesterday. In years past you could pick up some maps from the township clerk and hunt a few different public township owned land. Not any more. I live in Evesham and always grabbed the maps incase I wanted to get a quick hunt in. Not no more. Oh well. Just letting you guys know if some of you were planning on hunting those public pieces. Nick

Evesham sucks you cant even drive through there without a 101 cops on ever corner , looking for.a reason to make money !

It is shut down on all public land - per the township clerk. we need to organize a petition to restore this. it's a tragedy and all the evidence points to this should be restored. the base should be open to this for just QDM sakes... I have spoken to a few people. chime in here if you are interested in making a case to restore hunting on the base. maybe bow only, no drives. Let's face it - seeing 25 guys walking through the woods behind their house in blaze orange with guns and then hearing 60 or 100 shots fired in the space of 10 minutes scares the uneducated... just my 2c - YMMV.

They said no discharging of any projectile on township owned land.I believe they named all public land "parks".You can't even throw a rock,but I guess you could club them.I grew up in that area,started hunting there long before Kings Grant,etc.Damn yuppies should go back to the city.

when I spoke to clerk she just said the township didn't allow hunting on evesham owned public land. she never mentioned anything about discharge or trespassing. im assuming the land is still public just they chose to no longer allow hunting. I've driven past a few areas where hunters have parked in the past and I have seen vehicles there in the last 2 weeks. either people dont know the law has changed and/or its the police hunting it which happens often in neighboring cities. only thing killing the deer around me where I live are vehicles.

I would contact a c.o. And talk to them. I was told no township can make a law to stop you from hunting as long as you are following all state laws. Sounds like the guys at the twp or the police want to keep it for them to hunt.

Ms. Dutcher stated that she is not against guns, but because of an incident she was involved in recently, became aware that the Township has no regulations regarding the discharge of guns and would support Mayor and Council in adopting an ordinance.Mr. Andrew Dutcher, 255 Tomlinson Mill Road, stated that he supports his wife's efforts regarding the firearms discharge ordinance and went on to say that Township Council needs to protect the residents of the township"

The only way I could see a township saying no hunting is if in within that township you are never more then 450 yards from property while in that township.like willingboro township you cant find any location thats not near a home or some building or park so I can see why they say no hunting in town lines.just my example

No discharge law doesn't effect hunting legally on private property, In the town. Town property they can enforce that law. No discharge will stop you from engaging in target practice though. But not hunting on your private land 450' from frequently visited buildings.
