Was hunting yesterday morning 10/29 finally had a day off to get out! Well long story short at around 6:55 I hear the sounds of leafs crunching the buck walks within 15 yards gives me a perfect broadside shot and I didn't take it. Although I could tell it was a nice buck I just want sure if it was a mature deer couldn't distinguish if it was a 6 our an 8 point do as I was in full draw I elect to let him walk. As luck would have it the buck goes right past me heading in my fathers direction I text letting him know I passed on him and he was heading in the direction of his stand and 20 mins later I hear what sounds like a truck breaking everything it runs through get a call from dad saying he shot a huge deer could tell from the excitement in his voice that he was a brute but neither of us realized how big he truly was but he was concerned he said arrow get a complete pass thru.
