After full moon lastnite went out in morning not expecting to see much. After a ton is tree rats and turkeys a 6 point snuck up behind me I put cccrossbow up in opening and he stepped through and stopped behind a tree. He must of heard me move ran about 20 yards stopped behind some brush had small opening so I shot and don't you know I hit a twig and missed.oh well hopefully this afternoon will be better.

Watched a small buck come out of the woods into a small clover field at 7:45am. Fed across the field a bit then walked back into the corner he came out of. 10 minutes later, he comes back out followed by a 1.5 yr old 7 point. They browsed across the field, ate some vines growing on a cherry tree along the edge, then looked behind them and a nice 2.5 yr old 8 point came out and over to them. He sparred with the 7 point for a while, ran off the little scrub, made a few scrapes along the edge, then about 9am, they all went back into the woods. About 9:10am, the scrub came back out to eat the clover and a nice big 8-point, good mass, nice, tall leaning brow tine, came out and fed in the clover until 9:25am. So much for a full moon suppressing daytime activity.

I had one walking back and forth in the dark for like 30 minutes, i could smell the tarsal from the tree. Hope stinky comes back later because i got a little surprise for him. Lol
Also set up a small man made scrape line with some code blue and golden scrape real quick when i got down. Hoping to piss this guy off, i think it was the shooter i saw standing in my parking spot when i got there.
