When's your next BD Party ??? Robin That will be in April if I can get permission from the boss it seems she didn't think it was as funny as I did when I pointed out to all the little kids there that I owned a real swamp and if they crossed that little foot bridge down below they were sure to find it.

I was having such a good time I didn't figure on them coming back into the house afterwards so the last time I brought up the subject I was told I needed to contract with a caterer (It seems I tend to make a slight mess when I cook and party at the same time, who knew?) AND a maid service that would show up at 4 in the morning to put the place back together before she wakes up.
I will figure something out stay tuned.

Great pictures, although I'm with Robin on wanting to see them all. Although that could end up with me booking a flight and that could be dangerous! Thank you for sharing! I think the closest I'll be getting to Alaska is a fly fishing trip to Oregon next year.

After Kodiak we went back to Anchorage for a day than on to the Alaska Peninsula and Rapids camp Lodge.
One of the great things about Rapids Camp is the fact that they have one of the largest if not the largest lodge own fleet of aircraft so they can get you to anyplace in the South West Alaska area known as the upper peninsula ,Bristol Bay water shed and Katmi land weather permitting………and often times the weather does not permit even though you paid dearly for the opportunity to fly out each day but hey that’s how it is particularly if you go to South West Alaska because the weather for the most part comes off of the Bering Sea (Think Deadliest catch).
With that all said our first two days there were heavily over cast when it wasn’t a total shit blizzard the good news is RCL is right on the Naknek river one of the best wild Rainbow trout rivers on the planet and it’s a great place to fish on a rainy day when you can’t fly out to other sometimes more interesting fishing the first day there both of us fished with our guide Dusty who also guides for Elk in southern Colo. where he lives the rest of the year; he and I had much to talk about and some of what we were talking about was Elly as she put on a clinic for multi species fish landing.

Here’s Elly with the first Silver Salmon of the trip and the fish that gave her the 5 Salmon species perfecta for the trip.
