Looks like a Sears Gamefisher...have you figured out how much weight all your equipment is adding up to? Are you planning on putting a shooting platform on the front? I ask because I have the same boat and I believe the max weight is 350. It already rides a bit low in the front. I would figure that out before you load it up....it may all end up on the bottom

i BOWFISHED FOR YEARS WITH A GENERATOR THE ONLY WAY TO GO! Put a rubber pad on the bottom of the boat, I did it so it did not wear a hole in the boat but works to calm vibration too! The lower the lights are to the water the better. One they shine in the water better and two they are not in your way when shooting. I also made a plywood box with three sides this I used to channel the noise from the generator. Leave it open enough so the generator runs cool but it drastically reduced the noise you hear in the boat. All generators are not created equal when it comes to noise! I always ran Generac but I imagine Honda would be good too. I also made a platform to shoot off. On my John boat I used heavy plywood between the seats. I have a 20 foot bass boat with a 6 foot tower that worked awesome. The higher you are the easier to see fish and the better angle into the water. With that boat you cannot go high it will be unstable. Put the generator in the back of the boat! This keeps noise away and the weight more even (very important in light john boat). Do you have a death barrel? saves the mess in the boat. PM if you need any help I used to fish carp tornaments.

Sorry I havnt jumped on this thread yet.

My boat is set up with 8 50watt LEDs that are 110v. So I run a generator. And no constant noise doesn't spook many fish its the odd sounds, its some one stepping to hard on the deck or an arrow hitting the light rail while bring it in or the trolling motor tapping a rock.

As far as options, you have many, they make my same lights in a 12v version. I know most guys can run 8-10 lights off two batteries most of the night, gives you the option to run silent. Some guys then put a converter in, once the batteries start running low you can start the generator and charge the battery while still using it.

Next year I'm buying a second generator so i can then have two converters constantly recharging my trolling motor batteries while I use it. I can then down size my batteries since they dont need to hold a large charge.

Nice clean job DR
Thanks, cant take the credit tho. Hottrodscott(newer member on here) and his friend who built and redid3 other boats this past year did almost all of it.
Couldn't be happier, have had no issues other then my brand new Minn kota80# gets finicky some nights and starts cutting out when be used hard.

my buddy runs 8 50watt led, 3 batteries, 3 inverters, red led strips to illuminate the interior of the boat, 2 1000w Yamaha genies, to push the 105lb troller. the boat is awesome, fishing machine. my other buddy has almost th same set up but he has stick controls for the kicker up on the shooting platform. Delaware knows these boats.

Thanks Man!! Its a clean simple setup... Its really hard to beat the LED's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do also have to understand there is $140 in just Conduit and boxes on DE's boat but in my oppinion if you do it correct first it will be problem free and safe!!!

Thanks rdf got a 700 watt honda pushing lights..but as usual thanks for your sarcastic ass comments...dick
