I injured my shoulder 2 seasons ago while drawing on the buck in my avitar, ignored the injury for several months and by the time I admitted a problem, my shoulder had frozen up in the rotator area. Although the doctor had wanted to do surgery, I opted for physical therapy instead. It's been a long road, one filled with pain, tears and frustration, but this week, after 13 months of physical therapy and also joining a gym, I FINALLY reached my main goal of being able to once again shoot MY MATTHEWS PASSION at legal weight of 35 lbs.

A few days ago, I turned my bow up to 36 lbs and yesterday used one of my birthday gifts for the first time, this is at 20 yards . . . my next goal is to reach 40 lbs by opening day . . .

Nice shooting, and glad to hear the shoulder is coming around. I tore my shoulder up in 2008 and ignored it for a while then wound up doing PT and was just about scheduled for surgery when I wound up in a car wreck that created some other more pressing issues. I continued the PT after recovering from the accident and never did have the surgery. I still have some issues but the shoulder is much better than it was. Mine is in my bow arm not my draw arm, but at one point I couldn't hold a bow up to draw it. I hunted for a year with a low draw weight bow then built everything back up. Now I shoot 70# bows again.

Oh that's so good Robin![up] I can relate!I Did the same thing after breaking my colar bone skiing.A little each day.Easy does it.
