Been working on the garden a lot and still have much wood to cut but going to pull a cam later on today it has been out there for some time since April so who knows what's on it. Also need to shoot the Doug Knight recurve that Sugar loaned me a lot more than I have been as that is the bow that his friend owned and I have the honor of being the first pair of hands to hunt with it and than pass it on this is exciting. Speaking of exciting I am looking forward to fishing in Alaska again much later in the summer. Life is good.

I just got my bow back the other day and I'm hitting the 10 ring with a new string. Been doing some fishing and taking it one day at a time. Of course, I'm taking pictures and video of whatever suits my fancy, as usual. My hobby breaks the monotony of all the free time I have lately. I'm looking forward to the hunting seasons ahead and the opportunity to share my days afield with anyone who will appreciate it. I am fortunate to be able to participate despite it all. I might go somewhere out of state on a DIY hunt just to experience it again. I missed out on the early fishing on Lake O, but I'll be sure to make some of that up.

WOW, a positive thread. I'm not sure what to do. Thought about shooting yesterday, but didn't. Benn fishing a good amount or at least working while others are fishing. Some days are good, some not but that's fishing. Good luck to all this hunting season.

I wish I was getting ready for hunting! But instead I'm selling off most of my hunting gear to keep a roof over my head for one more month, I hope to hear back on a job but it don't look good, and my former boss is trying to screw me on unemployment, I am being forced into making a move I don't want to make and will likly end up near Tampa and will likly end my hunting or fishing for the for seeable future, till I can get back on my feet. I hope.

im going to be talking to a lady in Cokesbury sunday about hunting her lot... looks like a real nice honey hole, all posted, no hunters, and the neighbors are all pissed at the deer tearing their gardens to pieces

Its hard to believe that no one is hunting that area. I hunted down there in the nineties on doe patrol with a guy. We were to shoot antlerless only. Every now and then a buck would jump out in front of an arrow. [hihi]

All the best, Paul. There is some good hunting and fishing in Florida. Just not what your used to is all. That is what a cousin living there tells me. Keep your head up.
