Enough of the drama here. Whats everyone up to? Getting ready for hunting? I started shooting my bow and may be picking up a new hoyt in a trade offer. Planning a camping trip in a couple weeks. Riding my harley and having fun. Carp fishing slowed down for me kinda sucks. Lets talk hunting and fishing.

Working on a few trad self-bows, adding sinew to one of the maple staves. May try my hand at making my own knife, etc.. relaxing/fun activities for me. Fishing with my son who is doing his first bass tourneys, and hopefully fitting some mountainbiking, scouting, and of course shooting into the mix.

Well just got kidney stones cut out of me considering the sonic stuff didnt work. Been talking to a lawyer about taking on my malpractice case because after 2 massive elbow surgerys two of my fingers dont work and hurt so bad I have been taking pain meds for over a year now. My pain management doctor started me on Lyrica nerve meds to help with the pain which has made me break out with 5 friggin million blisters on my hands and arms. My kid was in a car accident and gets his 4th surgery on his knee on the 25th. I'd love to hear about something good considering life here basically sucks.

Just bought a new tree stand the other day. Going to buy two more possibly along with a new trail cam. Shooting my bow on weekends and adding a pin up to 50 yards this year. Going out Saturday to put out a mineral lick and my trail cam see what's growing [up]

Nice thread for a change! Well I just finished my 4th cycle of chemo therapy which I'm ecstatic about and have been keeping busy when I wasn't feeling like crap during my treatments. My gear has never looked so good, but still lots to do. I've been putting a hurting on the blues down on raritan bay and shooting the bow along with attending some 3d shoots. I've been to lehigh valley sporting clays about a Half a dozen times this year getting ready for those fast flying woodies come fall. Still need to repaint the duck boat, motors are all maintained and running strong, and I will hopefully set out some cams and start setting stands in a few weeks. I should be heading up to my camp in the Adirondacks in a few weeks and will fish for some native brookies and make sure the rifles are sighted in for the NY and PA seasons. Muzzy and slug gun were sighted in and double checked a few weeks ago as well. Need to get the long lines ready for coastal ducks soon too. Still lots of prep work and fun to be had this summer. Looking forward to crabbing, more 3d shoots, and a few camping trips with a lot of venison on the grill, but the season can't come soon enough!

Finally! Jeez, I was beginning to think I was back in 5th grade.

Just ordered myself a tree stand and HSS today. I've got to increase the opportunity for this season and learn to love hunting from a tree stand. I've been shooting straight since the end of the season to prepare for my Canada trip and now I need to pay some attention to my bow and get a few things tweaked. Need to start shopping for a good shotgun for me, and lasso a bear and keep it around until December.

And figure out a way to make more money and work less so I can hunt more.

Mineral sites and cameras are out. Getting my range card for Shongum in the mail tomorrow hopefully and spraying again for my fall planting plots. Night work is kicking my ass and my son gets to go fishing with daddy during the day again tomorrow while my wife tends to our newborn girl. I may not get to do much hunting this fall but sometimes the trail cam pics keep you going and pumped for when the time finally allows.

Thanks....it's been crazy around here! But I love every minute of it(mostly)
