The hearings just concluded and all bills were passed on to the next step. There is still a chance that some amendments will be made Thursday at the Budget Committee hearings before the bills are voted on to go to the full Senate for a vote. Although these bills are not quite as bad as the bunch that the Assembly passed (the magazine limits were not in this package) they still contain a lot of infringements on our 2nd Amendment rights. We should continue to call, email or write our state Senators to oppose these bill when they come up for a final vote. But, it was clear that Senator Sweeney as always will do whatever Boss Norcross tells him to do. So, at this point we must also look past the Senate and start to contact Governor Christie asking that he veto any anti-gun legislation that comes out of these proposals.

Pro-gun advocates need their own press conference to counter one like this -

Shameless coverage by NJ new organizations. The entire photo gallery on nj.com was of sandy hook parents with tears, holding hands etc. Sorry about their kids, but we didn't do anything and shouldn't have to pay for the crimes of a thief and lunatic. What I have to say to them is "welcome to NJ, now leave, and mind your own business."

This is already over in the GA and Senate. The only hope at this point is Christie. Everything that happens before the big man right now, is merely a charade.

NJ.com is owned by The Star-Ledger. The Star-Ledger is one of the most liberal papers in all of America.*

*Side note: If you consider yourself pro-2A and subscribe to The Star-Ledger, you're part of the problem, not part of the solution. That rag is not very financially sound, and your $ is helping keep their propaganda message afloat.

Don't bet on any meaningful vetoes folks, this stuff will pass then what? How about drawing a line in the sand and tell those jackasses we will not comply! You can bet they'll hear us then. They are not listening now are they.

you learn something new every day...today I learned that Brian Miller, of CEASEFIRE NJ, MISIDENTIFIED himself when he spoke. Or perhaps he's like STU and just keeps making up groups to be in charge of.
