The otter box is great, if you want to double the size of your phone.

Otter Box for every day use. Lifeproof when fishing and waterfowling. Dropped mine in the drink more than once!

I got this box for my Samsung Galaxy S III, excellent product and customer service. I broke the clip on the holster part, called them and they replaced it FREE had it within 3 days......Best price I found was on Amazon.com

Speck. They are slim but still protect well.
Lifeproof.
Compared side-by-side with the Otterbox, and liked the Lifeproof case better.
The Otterbox is definitely more stout, but at the expense of being larger and affecting sound quality.
The Lifeproof case is slimmer and barely affects the speaker/mic.
