Now if only they had a more onerous process to get a permit, this could have all been avoided.
I've been flamed for selfishly wondering how this will be used to take away our rights, but I'll insensitively ask again, what weapons and ordnance has been found? I'm hearing suspiciously little.

Unfortunately people will probably turn this into something to take away our rights to own guns again and yeah probably an AR will show up and be blamed for this too. One of these days I'll be walking into my local store and find out that pressure cookers, ball bearings and nails are now banned or require a background check to purchase.

What is puzzling about this case is there isn't any real mention of the scumbags' apartment or its contents. The day the guy shoot up the movie theater in colorado ,the first thing the cops did was raid his apartment and found booby traps. The same w newton shooting where the authorities said right from the get go that they searched the Lanza residence and found his computer hard drives where methodically destroyed and knew who owned the guns and where they were purchased. Yet how come all is quiet about these two terrorists living quarters and its contents and computers , phones, weapons etc all that was really mentioned was about finding more bombs in thier car
Hell, I'm wondering if they had any guns at all...
I cant help to wonder how or why the media hasnt jumped all over this incident as a part of their gun grabbing agenda.
No word on the gun used to shoot the MIT cop, or rob the 7-11, or carjack the Mercedes or the ones used in multiple shootouts...
Dont get me wrong, I'm glad theyre focused on other crap but I find it to be unusual.

The "gun" issue is being downplayed over the bombs as the onion gets peeled back on this story.

It’s probably all one big mistake.
My bet is they figured the guns were covered under the bomb throwing permit and or the pot smoking permit or the carjacking permit or the cop killing permits they undoubtedly had.

The contents of the apt won't be disclosed until the Feds go in and take the Obama shrine down and scrub the place of any democratic paraphernalia they might find.
Now, I dont want to be a "conspiracy theorist" but......things arent adding up with this whole thing. First, in the very beginning, in the video.....where did all the wheelchairs come from??? there are literally DOZENS of wheelchairs and I only saw one or two people with bloody injuries....the rest looked fine and were being wheeled "wherever". the First Aid tent had already said they are equipped for very basic things like dehydration, scrapes, cuts. the hospital is a few miles away, ambulances dont typically carry wheelchairs. Then the pix of the 2 boys.....carrying backpacks.....but NO pix of them WITHOUT the backpacks as if they set them down anywhere. Then....the "car chase/shootout".....DOZENS of cops against 2 boys? (sorry, 2 "men", 19 and 26), they couldnt surround this building or whatever they were in so that they couldnt escape? I also heard they were throwing grenades at the cops AND now Im hearing they threw a pressure cooker bomb too.....really?! pressure cooker is heavy and awkward WITHOUT having anything in it.....one of them has a STRONG ARM!!! and.....wheres all these grenades and stuff? the media didnt take ANY pics of either holes or burn marks all over the street from these grenades and pressure cooker bombs being thrown??? Also, these boys were soooo careful with their planning and execution of this bombing.....but then they knock over a 7-11??? and let that clerk live, hijack a car.....and let that guy live.....but walk up to a security guard thats NOT even looking for them, just sitting in his car and shoot him???
STILL cant seem to get it straight as to whether they have been here 10 years or 1 year. AND.....havent heard ONE SINGLE person say a bad thing about either of them. teachers, friends, schoolmates.....all say how great they were. But, anyone else Lanza, Arizona shooter, theatre shooter, etc. you got people saying "yea, he always was weird, kept to himself, was kicked out of school, etc. etc.".....these 2....nothing....."good student"...."team player, good at sports"...."outgoing" "friendly, helpful"..
Ive seen pics of when the one was shot, laying on the ground and stuff.....wheres the bomb that was strapped to him??? clothes are still on, shirt is half open, cops/rescue all around him....not seeing a bomb on his chest.
Then....the boat......MASSIVE door to door search!!!!..........nobody checks the boat or the shed in backyards? and......they even brought in firetrucks, they couldnt get the firetruck to BLAST the boat with water? it wasnt a very big boat and wouldve forced him to come out and gettign hit with water he wouldnt be able to see to shoot back or anything.
a BUS of cops, helicopter, SWAT........against 2 boys??? and they said "oh, they had military training".....wellll ddaaaaamn !!! 2 guys holding off THAT many law enforcement??? thats some serious rambo military training they had!!

The problem as for some of the erroneous reporting, the news source NPR explained it best; "We are collecting dots. It's a day to be careful connecting them."
The various news services, in their efforts to be the most and the first with the exclusive, were tripping over themselves spewing as much data as they could. (More is better, right?) Most stories have turned out to be more speculative rather than fact. (I.E. What happened to that bomb at the JFK Library?) I think too many people were connecting every dot they discovered plus invented.

Not checking the boat..... Poor police work.
I believe these cops were shaking in their boots, don't get me wrong I would too.
Thank God there were no more deaths.
I agree, the AR will show up, along with the parade of finger pointers.
