i just sent them a email with pictures of the score sheet and explained that alot of people do not know about taken birds to post offices and store to be weighed ? and said i had wings beard and beards

Not all states have check stations. Call the outpost to find out if their scale is certified. I hope it works out[up]

but these are just NWTF records, not the state records. only NWTF members can enter their bird.
i dont even know if NJ keeps an official state record turkey

I don't think NJ keeps records. My buddy shot a 25.5lb bird with 1 5/8 spurs and a 12 in beard two years ago and got no recognition from the state or anything, he isn't a NWTF member either. I bet record birds are shot all the time and there's just nothing to keep track of them. Sorry to digress and your score didn't come up when I clicked the link but congrats on what must be a giant! Hate to rain on your parade but ...If the bird wasn't weighed on certified scales it won't qualify..Also, you need to be a NWTF member in good standing and have another NWTF member vouch for you.
