I went out to Whittingham to hunt from a ground blind set up. And around 6ish a small spike came in from behind my blind. still in velvet with spikes just about three to four inches long. Oh well the seasons young yet.

Red, some times I like to get on their level. that said where I was posted had lots of sign but no trees for any kind of stand. of all the deer I've taken over the years I have taken 4 from the ground. not to many do it anymore and this early in the game the deer don't expect it.
My g/f was driving to work on rt 618 this morning and saw what she says was an 8 or 10 standing there. She said he looked like a huge hog with antlers.
