Last night I killed the biggest Whitetail deer that I have ever had the privilege to hunt. Saw the deer a few times in velvet and than again Saturday night. Took the day off from work yesterday to hunt him. Got in the stand at 11:50 and sat all day. I had a 4pt., 7pt. and 8pt. all walk within 15 yards at about 6:00. right at last light I heard a deer coming down the trail that leads right under my tree. as soon as I got a look at the deer I realized that it was the deer that I was after. I immediately drew the bow and waited for him to step out. he stepped out and I shot at about 10 yards. I watched as the deer ran about 50 yards and died within sight of my tree. Absolutely amazing night of bow hunting.
Deer rough scored gross 153 3/8ths he is 24 3/8" wide has 26" beams and is a main frame 10 with split brow on one side making him an 11 point buck[up]
I'm gonna have a tough time topping this in NJ[up]
