Every day out on the trap line is like Christmas when you were a kid, every set is like a present to be opened. Its the anticipation of what may lay in the net trap , its exciting.

cant see how trapping can be exciting and make you hooked, but to each his own. as long as you are outdoors not behind a computer screen

it isn't the dispatch that is the exciting part, it's getting to that point.
many hunters think shooting a critter at 3' is not fun, that isn't the fun part. it is beating the critter and catching it.

I just like getting out in the woods. Something different from hunting and fishing. Without youth trappers this sport would die off soon. I'm trying to get my friend to take there test next year and start trapping.
