If you just let them be...they'll last for months and months, I put mine out in the spring and there is probably still 1/4 left of them now.

If you try moving them after they've been out there and soaked/penetrated by rains somewhat, they'll break up into a granular mess and get rained away pretty quickly...but the deer will still paw the ground for them.

Yea I've been putting my mineral licks in the same spot all year so far and they have really shredded it up! The other week I put some rack up in a hole then covered it with a bit of dirt and some big rocks so they couldnt' destroy it to fast...when I went back the other day the rocks were all over the place. They just flipped em out of the way and dug into the dirt!

My hunting buddy and I use Maple blocks. Last year while he was sitting in his stand, he witnessed two herds fight over one. Two large does actually boxed! We have a local feed store that sells them for $10. My buddy put one out Monday and it is being hit aggressively.

just got back from checking my feeders and puting out some extra corn my 4 play blocks are being hit hard one was draged down a hill and the other has tracks all around it

This time of year try the corn a plenty block. You can get them at agway and the deer tear them up from now until spring.
