Do you guys argue about the tires on your truck that used to have tread too?

i ran into a scumbag co up in wantage. a few years back a co gave me ticket for not having an orange hat on federal land. i had a blaze orange solid vest but on federal land you need a hot too. that co guy had some balls to give me that ticket when he walked out in the feild with brown on in the middle of our deer drive and deer jumped up between us. he is very lucky he was identified as a person. shouldnt he have to wear blaze orange, he could have easily been shot. friggin hypocrite[down]

It's a bit too Queer Eye for the straight guy - errr - hand on hip - "your not wearing this year's thade of orange!".

NJ Federation of Sportsmen Clubs whats your stand on a patch that determines if you get a summons or not ?
Parkrod
Bring it up at your next Federation County meeting

In my opinion you should wear the same shade and amount of orange that you would allow you son or daughter wear on opening day on state land.

( well lets see.... Maybe they dont want to be seen.)

problem with that is if they get hit with a few stray pellets they cry and want to file charges. so who is right the idiot trying not to be seen or the person hunting legally? Not trying to sound like an ass but years ago one CO hid in a bush waiting to see if i would remove my hat or something illegal and when the deer come between us ran out screaming DON"T SHOOT and scarred the deer,he very well could have been shot if he never seen the deer and jumped out screaming like a raped date and no he had no orange on.......

in hunting you have way to many variables to be able to say it is always the hunter, know your target and beyond is a good rule of thumb but your eyes can only see so far and nobody can see through a bush!!! and like animals people are always moving that is why everyone in the woods should wear orange or at least something bright... trying to check hunters with out being seen is no excuse..

I think it should be manditory that you wear at least 200 sq inches of fluorscent hunter orange on your head. I mean come on lets face it if your walking through a think brush field sometimes at best you can only see the persons head because the brush is covering their torso and legs. So that right their should be manditory, along with a orange game pouch vest as well.

This is the first I have heard about this patch. How does it work? Is it to determine you have 200 square inches or that your Orange is bright enough?

It's to determine if the orange is bright enough I believe.

Personally I don't think COs should have to wear orange, they should have the right to be stealthy. They are out with people who are known to have guns, they should at least be allowed to have some element of surprise.

Well that's why you shouldn't shoot at moving brush in a field[spy] How does orange change anything?

what does looking for people with guns have to do with anything? Anyone in the woods during 6 day , muzzleloader or doe days should have orange on doesn't matter if they are hunting enforcing laws walking a dog or riding a bike.
