guys I grew up with drive hard during shotgun season . know their land , and every escape route. Put a HURTIN on the deer .
half guys sitting in a tree are watching nothing while the deer are laying in their bedding areas all day .
the drive guys that know their areas are being proactive all day. and the numbers at weeks end are pretty good.
The best drivers are shooting the better bucks every year as they try and slip out the back of the drive.

alot more skill involved in a well performed drive than there ever will be sitting on a bait pile

You aren't wrong but, ohhhhh no you dittttn't

to each his own landpreserver.... happy hunting! no disrespect. I just personally wouldn't feel satisfied shooting a deer that way but that's my personal opinion.

I hate gun season the woods go from me and Killshot[kiss] to: Me, Killshot, matt, tommy, joey, frankie, patrick, ben, mike, olga, todd, and sal

Im cool with all types of hunting. Drives, tree stand, still hunting.tracking they all have there time and place.
YEP, you got that right, and the guys who know how to do all the above make it happen when the Nay sayers are just scratching their heads [up]

I typically don't participate in drives because not too many people I know use them (or have the property for them)..I am completely fine with guys driving deer, sometimes it helps still hunters, sometimes not..it is just another tool that us hunters have the possibility to use, just like baiting, rattling, scent control, crossbows, etc. if it gets more people involved and makes people more successful then I'm ALL for it..no one on here can complain about who real hunters are and who isn't unless you use a recurve with stone points, hunt on the ground without scent control and bait..come on now [eyeroll]

Well Said Dan[up]

I dont mind drives, gets the deer moving and is a lot of fun. Helps pass time in the stand hearing "YOO BUCK" and hearing shots and knowing any minute a buck can run under you. What I dont like is clubs shooting every horn they see. Should be a 3pt rule for 6-day

Part of it is probably that in south jersey there is room for that but up north there isn't so the 7 guys walking through the woods look like idiots[confusedagain]

Now theres words of wisdom[up]

nothing wrong with driving safely. i drive a little during gun season. you guys bashing people for driving probably have a cross bows and a baitpile. so mind your own business, support your fellow hunters and their methods and the overall tradition of hunting.[down]

every year same crying . bla bla bla! as long as everybody is safe and legal hunt how you like! .....be safe and good luck.
I hunt bow, muzzleloader, and when six day comes I hunt with a club driving. As long as its legal, I have no problem with how you hunt. I don't care if you hunt with a cross bow, to each his own.
