They are desperate for state and county CO. I keep getting last notices in the mail weekly! I cannot take the pay cut. I was thinking of working in toms river in the county jail, but my neighbor works there and he said the starting pay just changed down to 36-38,000. i cannot take that kind of pay cut. If you are young go for it. good luck!

Left mine on what we call here a Reg 32 with 19 1/2 on a little less than my full pension in at 20 years. I cant work here in city but can go elsewhere. Money not a factor persay.

14 years to go for me. I also heard that Hardyston Twsp is hiring police officers for anyone that may be on the Rice List. Chiefs test there.
