started out with bagels cover in frier grease top with marshmellows...todays bait had some scraps from a deer butcher..plus the others
bear baits...whatca guys mixin up..

If you dont have the time to bait, set upwind of the thickest nastiest stuff you can find. Set yourself up a sterno or similar and slowly simmer some bacon.
the key is a slow burn, you dont want it sizzling because it will spook the bear. I brought in 2 bears last year with the bacon burn. Pay attention, those bears can creep up on you fast. You could also try a predator call maybe fawn in distress. Popcorn for bait works well, they like pizza and salad. They will eat just about anything you put out. Fryer grease is key for a good bait set up.Gut piles is also one of the best ingredients.Corn spread out will keep em busy if they wipe out the big stuff. Im sitting this one out this year. I just checked my cams and on 1 cam I had 500 pics of bears in 7 days!!! Might be able to tag a bear this year

todays menu was oats, candy corn, syrup. 10 pounds sugar . 5 gallons used greese..........
