To all members: Please remember to carry out whatever you bring into the hunting or target area. On a recent trip to a Fish and Game wildlife manegment target area I could mot beleive the stuff being left behind by so called sportsmen. The signs clearly ask everyone to remove targets and any other items they bring to the area, yet there was a pile of debris that was three feet high left behind. If you see someone leaving stuff remind them nicely that the rules state that they remove and take their stuff with them. If we don't start cleaning up after ourselves they will have an excuse to shut down the target areas at wildlife managment areas. These slobs who are leaving behind there stuff need to be reminded that the state can close the area's to public use. Sorry to sound so grumpy but it just is a disgrace to us sportsmen who do our part to maintain these areas.

I just don't get it. So simple to do yet there are lazy slobs among us. Just the other day at Black River WMA some total douche slob left behind a strangled dead hooker. I checked today and it's still there[down]

I have private farms that I generally shoot on, however, I sometimes go with friends to Colliers Mills for target shooting. It's ridiculous how much crap is just left there. I see piles of garbage 10' from half empty garbage cans !!

Were supposed to be stewards of the land and promote a clean environment but obviously some people just don't care.

Used to go to the millville range and the only thing I left behind were my foot tracks. My Dad taught me that years ago and never forgot. Lucky got friend thats a farmer who lets us shoot on the front 40, would never think of trashing his place either.

[up]. Let's not forget about empty corn bags either. Seem to find allot of them in the woods too. No doubt who left them [confusedagain]

If you wouldn't leave it in your yard don't leave it there.

I am guilty of spent shells and cig butts. But some of the crap I see in parking areas are unreal. Looks like there was a rock concert there the night before.

I agree , what u bring in u should bring out !! The only thing i could think about targets blown to bits is that some people dont wanna ask to cease fire to go clean it up , i dont think anyone would mind cease firing , so you can clean ur mess , spent shells should be cleaned no matter what and so should your drink , or food containers !! I dont go that often but i have gone a couple times to clinton, or to oldbridge bow range and jesus would damn everyone the way they ruin his masterpiece called earth

We did a NJH clean up day at the Colliers Mills range last year. Good turnout and we put a good dent in it. I plan on having another one this year but on the off season.

jk360,i was up at the gap doing some phez hunting yesterday and drove by the range on my way home,i seen what you are talking about.i seen county landfills that are cleaner.Total disgrace.
