Im looking to get a 20 gauge either pump or auto and was what some of you might recomend .

remington 870 or 1187, very reliable guns

I'm an 870 man myself... if you are looking for a slug gun check out the HR ultra slugger or a savage 220.

mossberg 500 pump. i have 2 of them never had a problem with either. buy american keep that money in the country

Remington 870 or the 1100. The 1100 is a very light gun and shoots great.

For what purpose(s)? Always start with the reason you're buying the gun before deciding on make and model...

Love my remington 1100. Lightweight and reliable. Great for small game/pheasant. I also have a Winchester 1200 I believe that is the model. Also autoloader. It is Also a very nice gun but nothing compares to my rem.

Semi, Remington 11-87 I have one each in 20ga. & 12ga. both (rifled slug cantilever barrel)

Pump, for a great value and a very dependable Mossberg 500 combo, or the for a few more dollars the 870 combo

I love remington but an 1100 or 1187 is by no means light. Unless they changed something lately
