I'm tired of fist pumping jerks celebrating in their stands before they find the deer. You'd think they made a hole in one. Show a little cl [no swearing please] and lets see them struggle to track the deer instead. I don't see too many pile up next to the tree.

Eddie Brochin.

Its a low budget production. Its on one of those holy-roller tv stations. Its pretty funny but watching his show is like watching a train wreck.

Lately he has added a segment with Dale Karch from 3 Rivers Archery.

Warts and all this is the best hunting show on TV, next to Dangerous Game.

Will Primo & Brad Farris, The Drury brothers, and last but not least Ted Nugent.

what show & time/date?... Dale makes some great bows & I shop from 3Rivers.
I have Direct TV.

The show is called Outdoors with Ed Brochin.

It is on channel 321 at 8:30 am Saturday. (I think its THN or The Harvest Network)

It replaced my other favorite hunting show: Safari Journal.

Ed hunts with his local buds and focuses on trad bow most of the time. However he does have wheelie bow shows.

He also hunts with a raptor (falcon) for pheasant and quail.

During the show he promotes his company : Geist Lake Charters : I think he's in Indiana?

Also Promotes his ranch in Mexico, Rancho San Fabian.

Its corny - cheaply made and makes me smile because he's not promoting anything like the "Pros".

I don't watch ESPN outdoors anymore.

"This segment of the program shows impact shots... viewer discretion is advised"

Duh - it's a hunting show!

Since ESPN is owned by Disney, they want to have it both ways.

Its ok to watch Cindy Garrison eat bugs, but its 'discretionery' to watch a hunter make an ethical shot?

This is what happens when you hunt.

I want them to show how to field dress, quarter and pack game out.

They should show how the Africans care for game and why they desire what we leave in the field.

I want them to "show a blood trail" and not just a host pointing to the dirt.

The other stupid part is "TEST YOUR HUNTER IQ".

They had Tom Miranda answer a rifle question.

Why don't I ask Wally Dallenbach about the Tour de France?

Thats it - I'm fed up!

I'm starting New Jersey Hunter TV.

whick one do you beleive if you dropped them off in waywayanda or any new jersey wma or state park would come out with the biggest or seen the most bucks
My money would be on Chuck Adams to come out with the biggiest buck. His track record of taking big critters is unmatched. And most of his hunting is DIY and not being guided.

As far as who would I like to share a hunting camp with it would be the Will Primos and Brad Farris. These guys seem to be down to earth normal guys who get to go on great hunts and have a fun time. Last on my list would be anyone from North American Whitetail TV. To my all their reactions are phoney and alot, and I mean alot, of their shots are crappy and they act like they are Robin Hood!.

Very True. [up][up][up] Chuck Adams is great.

As far as who would I like to share a hunting camp with it would be
Tom Miranda, David Blanton, Stan Potts, and Alex Rutledge. I think these guys would be a blast to hang out with in a hunting camp. Chuck Adams is great, and I'm sure there is a ton of stuff I could learn from him, but he doesn't seem like he'd be too much fun to hang out with.

Chuck Adams is great.
Thank God he's not a host or TV personality.

He's quiet and keeps a low profile. I read his book Super Slam. It was collection of hunting articles.

He is a hunter, a great one at that, but a lousy writer and his interviews are less than enthusiastic.

Also:

Why is Craig Boddington an Expert?

I can't stand Boddington!

Safari Journal was good but did not show 'impact shots' espescially when they bow-hunted african game.

They would 'freeze' the frame at he moment of impact.

I never saw the Ed Brochin show where they had a front shot, but there were more than one episode with a clean-miss.

In one episode, he's trying to get his hunter on wild boar. The guy had been running around all morning - and this is like 100 degree heat.
They start yelling at each other... very funny!

I believe that almost all the hosts have hunted for years and have a good hunting background, but I think years of being pampered and hunting prime, private land and fully guided hunts have made things too easy on them and I don’t think they could handle the pressure of public land hunting.

If I had to choose a few which would be successful in any situation it would be Tom Miranda and Jim Shockey (like others have mentioned). I picked these two more on their background and experience.

Tom Miranda was a trapper and I don’t think there is a better foundation for a hunter than a trap line. I remember reading some of his articles on trapping in Fin and Fur magazine and he was a solid woodsman and has the background of hunting east coast deer on public land.

Jim Shockey was and still is a guide and has guided many hunters to success. I also remember reading his articles, years before his TV celebrity, on his solo hunting trips in the Alaska and Canadian wilderness. While I don’t know how he would handle other hunting pressure, he has the background and knowledge to hunt down any game..

The Guys at RealTree would finish last, they have been pampered way too long. And while I would enjoy the company of Waddell I don’t think any of them remembers the how it was to hunt public land..

The Drurys are enjoyable to watch and are excellent in marketing and production. But take them off their private setups and ranches and they would be lost..No QDM on that public land. I remember their early videos, bear hunts in New Brunswick, watch some of those videos and you will have a completely different perspective of these two..

The fitzgeralds are a joke, I feel like a PHD when I watch those two..

The Nuge is the Nuge..Dont know how he would fair in a public hunting situation but he would voice his opinion for everyone to hear (and good for him)

I enjoy watching Tred but I agree he would get lost or hurt..

Given the time, assistance and access to the lands they hunt, I believe a lot of the members of NJH would be just as successful as the “TV Pros”..
