Age this buck (pics)

There is no question that deer is at least 2.5. Certainly could be 3.5.

If you have any pics showing his spread that would tell a lot. Outside of his ears and he is almost certainly 3.5.

Based on what I can see I would estimate 3.5.

The second buck is around 3.5. Antler size doesn't mean too much in a deers age as he gets older, body size does. His chest/brisket area is starting to hang low and his muscle mass is that of a mature deer as Jersey deer go. The first deer looks like a much younger deer, 1.5 year old.

Young buck no skeletal maturity. Antler size has everything to do with age. This buck is no more than 2.5.
