just went down to a local farm that I hunt and when I pulled my truck into the field I saw quad tracks so I followed them around the fields only to find they drove all threw the corn and made a maze out of it pretty bad . I have been at this piece twice in the last week so it has to be only a day or two old ,now we just had this posted on here about how quads screw everything up and here is another way ,now it is time to get even ,I figure they will be back soon cuz there is still more to be ruined

Call the CO & sit and wait for them. They will be back.
did it last year and they told me to take into my own hands

My Co down here let us block state roads to keep some out while we were hunting & the caretaker for our wma ran a bunch of them out for us. Remember if you are going to confront them make sure you have no weapons on you or in your truck because the local PD will have a field day on you. Beat the [no swearing please] out of them!

Sorry to hear that Catfish, I would almost bet they will be back today sense it's Saturday. I would talk to the landowner and make sure he hasn’t given them permission to ride on his land as well as a letter giving you permission to handle this situation. Then wait for them to show up and start riding, Then I would block there vehicles in and call the CO’s and press charges for them trespassing and destroying privet property IE (the crops) as well as there quads would be confiscated.

Kicking there assess sounds like a lot of fun, But legal troubles really hurt in the pocket :D

this goes on every couple years on this piece ,the farmer tried to stop them and they smashed the windows on his tracker ,last year we ran one into a ditch tring to catch him lucky for him he didnt get hurt ,the cops told use to slash there tires on there trucks but I have to park there as well to hunt, last year we had a bunch of trucks towed and they still come back ,I have to go tell the farmer later and I know what he is gonna want to do

Have the land owner sign a complaint with the PD. Now the ball is in their hands. The local PD ALWAYS knows who has them
did that last year ,and it sucks I was gonna go talk to this guy about goose hunting his horse farm but it might have to wait ,there were over 50 birds in his field this morning

this happens to the gf's father every now and then. it was pretty funny when we were working last year and he wanted to go check on a field. we drove up to find some kids racing all around. it was pretty funny when we cornered them in and he gave them a rash of $hit. we loaded up their bikes, took them home, told their parents. we havent seen them since...hahahaha [hihi]

You mean the local PD will not follow up on a TRESPASSING COMPLAINT! Tell them if they don't handle it you will ask the STATE POLICE for assistance.

they helped chase these guys for a long time but that is all they can do we cant catch them ,so I figure w/ 4 flat tires it should slow them down

I'd slash all 4 of their tires and then wait for them to come to their vehicle. Of course, I'd be holding a loaded 12 gauge and threaten to shoot them if they ever came back. It's not like they can go to the PD and tell them that they've been threatened while they were trespassing.

Take a 2X4 and put a whole bunch of nails in it so they are sticking out the other side. When I say allot I mean put like 100 or more in it. Make sure the 2X4 is wider then the tracks of the Quad. Go out to one of the trails they made prferably the one that looks like it is the entrance or maybe make 2 and put one deeper into the trail. What you will do next is dig a trench deep enough to bury the 2X4 enough that you cant see it but the nails are still sticking out. This will flatten all there tires. If you do it deep enough into the trail and there is more then one you will get them both and they will have to push them out and it may happen while you are there and this will give you a chance to catch them. Good luck and don't let them get away with it.!![up]

Trespassing is a $50 - $100 fine. Slashing there tires and threatening them with a Shotgun will probably get you jail time.
Not sure what id do. Maybe a nail or 2 in the tire btracks so next time they get flats.

I wouldn't recommend that. If someone comes walking along it's , well pungee. Now if you bury the board deep enough to barely cover the nails. It should only puncture his soles but the weight of a quad would get the point, if you know what I mean.;)

Don't sign a TRESPASSING COMPLAINT. The owner needs to sign a personal damage est. damage over $5000 & the police have to investigate. the trespassing is just a nuisance call

i'm all for you getting them off your property but dont u think some of these suggestions ae a little overboard? Lets say they come ripping by and hit your wood with the nails. they flip the quad over and break their neck and god forbid die. You will be held responsible for planning on injuring someone or even premeditated murder. I THINK WHAT THERE DOING SUCKS AND THEY SHOULD BE DELT WITH BY THE CO OR COPS.

I cant beleive some of the stuff you guys are posting, especially from a moderator.
